Chris A. Luevano

I am currently a first-year Master's student in mathematics at New Mexico State University. I graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2026. 

My primary mathematical interests lie in the realm of low-dimensional topology, specifically knot theory and 3- and 4-manifolds. I am particularly interested in how various link homology theories can help us understand these objects. 

Outside of doing mathematics, I completed a minor in Chicanx studies. In my free time, I like to read, knit and crochet, listen to and play music (I can play the trumpet!), and bake.
